Stacey and I took a spontaneous trip to KC in September. It was crazy memorable!
It was a beautiful combination of resting, working, taking in the sights, and watching some football (not live, unfortunately)!
Saturday was the big day. We started with a Spinach Festival. Yep… spinach! lol. It was a good time with our friends Kent and Carrie and some newer friends as well. The festival had a lot to offer, with booths, food trucks, goats, musicians, historic structures, and yes, you guessed it, variations of spinach! Salads and dips of spinach… oh my! By the way, and not to brag, I’m a horse champion! Yep, there’s a story! lol
The evening wasn’t boring either! We hung out with my long-time buddy, Pat, for KC tours, KC scenes, a Speak Easy (it’s not scary at all), and the grand finale called “The Green Lady.” It was a full day full of great memories and soaking in the KC Life.
If you haven’t checked out KC and all it has to offer, you are missing out!!
